This item works great, and is great value for the money. It can be installed several different ways, BUT BE WARNED. Even when turned off this unit draws a small amount of power. I have it installed in my convertible to power laptops when traveling. But I learned the hard way, that if I go more than about 10 days without driving it, the battery will be dead. So I installed a relay that disconnects it from the battery when I turn the motor off. No issues since.

We use this when doing primitive camping our tailgating. Super easy to connect and use. Note: You can’t plug in higher power items, so research what you plan to use it for.

I have a SAE line coming into the my truck bed to power accessories.
I bought this unit because it has terminals.
So I bought a short SAE cable to terminals and wired up my inverter.
The wires almost melted immediately.
Why did it get hot, and not even turned on?
Well my wires came with a little reverse adapters I didn’t pay attention to, and when I plugged in the SAE connector is was hot to ground.
I added the reverse adapter and problem solved.
Whew.
I plugged a light in, and it turned on.
The piece feels rugged, and looks good.
Time will tell how it holds up to occasional use.

Bought this to use for powering our portable Traeger while camping and tailgating. I was very impressed with the quality and performance.

The quality control and packaging is an atrocity. This is one of the more expensive units as we wanted something a little more reliable and sturdy. It arrived all beat up and bent and the top USB outlet was messed up. Right out of the box.
I tried it out before our trip to make sure that it still works and thankfully, it did. We were still able to power the kids’ devices for the duration of our road trip and it seemed like it’ll work out alright. I’m not sure what kind of warranty it comes with or what it covers, but this thing took quite a beating during transit to my house so I’m keeping a close eye on it for any issues.
Update: I was contacted by the seller shortly after I received the damaged unit and they offered to send me a replacement unit at no charge. The replacement arrived in much better shape. It was the same packaging as the old one so it’s clear that the new unit may have had a “safer” trip than the first one. I gotta give them a lot of credit for their excellent customer service
The person that I was emailing back and forth with was very friendly and respectful throughout our interactions. At times they were very insistent on me updating this review; I told them I would but since I’m reviewing the product, I would need time to use the inverter and get a feel for the quality and durability of it.
We’ve made several trips with it and it works as advertised. It doesn’t seem to get very warm and it’s not noticeably noisy when the fan is on. The product and the customer service definitely earned their stars back. All in all, I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a vantro power inverter for their vehicle.

I have not attached it to the intended load to test compatibility. The output is not a true sine wave and therefore may not be compatible with all loads. I cannot find much data. Tested fine on a simple load.

Nice little inverter for running small items. If you plan on running anything big get a 2000 watt.
